Hydrotherapy, or “water therapy,” has some amazing health benefits like treatment of sore muscles, back pain, insomnia, and arthritis, to surprising health benefits like treatment of diabetes, stress, weight loss, and heart failure.

Our two resorts are located on 250 acres in the desert just outside Palm Springs, California.

People come from around the country to enjoy the resorts natural hot water and other facilities. The temperature of the spring water since 1967 has remained unchanged at 115 and 146 degrees Fahrenheit. We cool our soaking pools down to 104 degrees and keep our swimming pools around 90 degrees for swimming and aerobics.

Besides the general enjoyment and good feeling that the body experiences with a hot bath, we have medical evidence supporting the effects of hot water as a treatment for many diseases.

Caliente Springs Resorts Spa Methods Have a 15 minute bath daily in our 104° hot tubs followed by a 30 minute warm bath or sauna. Water exercise programs, massage, and showers provide you with a complete health spa experience.

  • Water Exercise Programs

    Caliente Springs Resorts Water Exercise The Arthritis Foundation Aquatics Program (AFAP) has developed water exercise programs designed for people with arthritis and related conditions.

    Our water exercise programs conform to AFAP guidelines and are available several times a week during season at no cost. Typically classes last about 30-45 minutes. To participate in a water exercise program in our warm water pools, contact our activities department.

    Like exercising, hot water strengthens your heart by invigorating blood flow and cooling your body down. It promotes circulation ridding your body of toxins and stimulating your immune system. Hydrotherapy has many of the same benefits of exercising and is an alternative for people who have joint pain or obesity making exercising unfeasible.
